We're wrapping things up this week. The kids are so excited to go back to school. They met their teachers and I am very pleased with all of them. We've had wonderful "luck" with getting great teachers throughout the years. Aidan is going to be lost without anyone to play with. The kids have even gotten him obsessing over Star Wars! He walks around the house constantly singing the Darth Vader theme (dun, dun, dun, dun-da-dun, dun-da-dun) He also loves playing with "22D2" I'm going to have to polish up my Star Wars trivia if I'm going to play with him!
Kirstin and Caleb had their piano recital this week. Somehow, Aidan got in on the act too. I had to have Caleb reenact his recital at home because Aidan was climbing all over me and I was not able to get a good recording. Even at home you can hear his trademark screech throughout Caleb's performance. Sorry Caleb! I thought the kids did a great job. I'm very grateful to my friend, Chelsey Gregory who has agreed to take them on for a pittance. The kids have come a long way in 6 months! (P.S. What a great recital! Caleb, you're very cool under pressure. I'll have to call & find out what duet Kirstin played--it was pretty. Love ya guys.
