Well, I have absolutely nothing interesting to write about. Our whole family had been sick and we are sick of that! I took all the kids to the doctor this week. Dr. Cullen put them in an assembly line and checked them all together (bless her!) She concluded that we have 2 different viruses that keep recurring. Despite our best efforts we cannot rid ourselves of it. We thought we were finally out of the woods this weekend, but I was just informed that while I was out with Caleb and Kirstin (seeing Clone Wars), Aidan threw up yet again! All the kids have cabin fever and family quarrels occur verrrrry frequently. Ah, I'm just whining. It's been a great summer and I've really enjoyed it for the most part.
We got the names of the teachers that our kids will have this year. Kirstin got a really excellent 4th grade teacher that is known for her kind, gentle nature and superb teaching skills. I couldn't be more thrilled. Caleb got a new teacher to the school. I'm crossing my fingers that she'll be a good one but he has a whole team of people that love him and I know will watch out for him.
I feel so blessed by all the kids' school experiences so far. I know that we are being watched over by our loving Heavenly Father. Thanks for all your emails. I love you all. Happy Birthday to Samantha and Crystine! I totally flunked on the birthday card thing--I usually do, but I really do have the warmest thoughts and affections towards you. Thanks also to Linda for her generous Panera gift card for Kirstin's birthday. Kirstin treated Caleb and I to a nice dinner before the movies. It was a great little "date" night. Love you, Linda. Peace out!
