Just recently I went on a trip with my Dad to Utah to see General Conference. I flew on the airplane Wednesday night with my Dad and flew to Utah. It was a long flight. I spent the night at Uncle Howd and Aunt Jean's house.

The next day Me and Dad went to President Hinckley's grave. We put flowers on his grave to show respect the 15th President of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Then we visited President McKay's grave 9th president of the Church who died at age 96 after which we went out on Temple Square in Salt Lake City for an organ recital.

Andrew Unsworth was the organist. He was appointed Tabernacle Organist last year. One of my favorite parts about the recital was that he played an arrangement on the hymn Lord I Would Follow Thee. He also played in Tabernacle Choir's weekly radio broadcast Music and the Spoken Word which I have attended. After the organ recital we ate lunch at the food court since I was given enough fast food because I didn't like the food they served at the Lion House Brigham Young's former residence. After that me and Dad went into the Joseph Smith Memorial Building to see the Joseph Smith movie.

After that I went into the Church Office Building a place were they hold Press conferences and then we went into the Beehive House also Brigham Young's former residence and then on Friday I did something very special in the Salt Lake Temple which is Baptism

s For The Dead.
It was not the same how I was baptized before. It was very different. I had to be baptized for four people my dad's ancestors and then I ate at the Lion House with Grandma and Grandpa McIntosh Uncle Howd and Aunt Jean. After I ate there I took pictures with them and then I visited all my cousins in Ogden.

Aunt Linda was wondering If I would sing and I did I sang Latter Day Prophets. I have notice when I listened to that song I told Aunt Linda that I was just clearing my throat then after my song My Dad sang Families Can Be Together Forever. Aunt Linda

was once the Primary Chorister. Then on Saturday I attended General Conference. Since we were seated up in the balcony I did not get chance to meet President Monson. My Dad told that if shakes people's hands he might get hurt and there are some bad guys who hate the President of the Church and following the Saturday Morning Session I went to a General Conference Reception and Light Buffet in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building and I also got to watch the Second Session there too because My Dad told me that in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building they have a huge screen to watch conference on. While I was there I saw President Witt and my good friend Jenny who just returned home from her mission she told me that her Dad went to Utah. I also got to meet my first ever General Authority. His name was Elder Keith K Hilbig of the Seventy and why he was there was because he was just getting a snack or two before he went to priesthood meeting. He offered me a cookie and some ice cream and then I asked him Are you a General Authority and he said Yes he was and the big news that forgot to tell you is that I got to attend my first priesthood meeting in the Conference Center and also I saw President Waters walking up the escalator. One of my

favorite talks in General Conference was President Monson's talk about Change. He also talked about new temples that are being dedicated. Soon after the other temples are being dedicated the Salt Lake Temple will begin renovation. President Hinckley said before he passed away is that there was going to be a mall built around Temple Square. Then on Sunday I attended the Sunday Morning Session of conference and after the session I went into the Joseph Smith Memorial Building to get a snack. I ate pizza and then I went into the Tabernacle to attend the concluding session of conference. After giving our balcony tickets away Uncle Howd Aunt Jean and Grandma and Grandpa McIntosh watched it at home and then on Monday I flew on the Airplane to Atlanta Georgia and all the way back to Richmond Virginia and the trip was fun.

Sounds like you had a fun and busy trip. I'm so glad you got to come to General Conference and Temple Square. I learned some things from your blog that I didn't know before, for example that they hold a reception and light buffet in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building.
The light buffet was at the Lion House and it was for the BYU law society :)
Wow, what an eventful and FUN trip. I'm a little bit jealous.
Hugs,
Aunt Char
